The Bed & Breakfast ‘Atlante’ is located in a stylish building of the historic city centre and it is very close to the main artistic and monumental sites of the city of Palermo:
such as Palazzo dei Normanni, with the outstanding mosaics of the Cappella Palatina; the Arab-Christian church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti, the Cathedral and the historic open-air market of Ballarò, taking place in the middle of one of the most popular and characteristic neighbourhood of the city where it is possible to buy Sicilian produces everyday.
Because of its location, from the Bed & Breakfast ‘Atlante’ it is easy to go to the splendid town of Monreale by public transportation.
It is also near Palermo University (viale delle Scienze), the Academic Hospital, the main children hospital and the Mediterranean centre for organ transplantation (ISMET).
The stop ‘Orleans’ of the city railway system is a few meters from the Bed & Breakfast therefore it is very easy to reach Palermo Airport Falcone-Borsellino, and the Stazione Centrale, the main railway station.
A quite and warm atmosphere will welcome you. The building dates back to the beginning of XX century and has been recently restored. Two bedrooms and a private bathroom costitue the area of the house dedicate to wosts. The two rooms (one with double bed, the other with twin beds) are wide and cosy, with heater and air conditioning, TV set, frigobar. The walls are decorated with stuccos and the ceilings are covered with frescoes.
The
price includes a daily change of sheets and towels, besides the
cleaning of the room. Upon request child care may be provided.Small pets are welcome.
